Connector & API Terms

1. What the connector is

The connector is a remote MCP server at https://www.jobfind.ai/mcp that your AI assistant can call once you have connected it. You connect either by signing in with your Jobfind.ai account (OAuth) or, for assistants that cannot open a sign-in window, with a personal access token you create on your Account page under "Your AI assistant". Every call is made on your behalf, under your account, and counts against your plan's limits exactly as if you had done it in the app.

2. Who can use it

You need a Jobfind.ai account in good standing and must be at least 18, as under our Terms. Each connection is personal to you. Do not connect an account that is not yours, and do not let anyone else use your connection.

3. What it can and cannot do

Can

• Search job listings (up to 20 results per request).
• Show your current matches, with your match score and a short reason (up to 10 per request).
• Open the details of one job at a time, as an excerpt of the posting with a link to the original.
• List the jobs you have saved, and save a job to your account.

Cannot

• Apply to a job or send your CV anywhere.
• Buy anything, or change or cancel your plan.
• Delete your account, change your settings or read your CV file or profile.
• Read anyone else's data.

Each job result names its source (for example jobs.ch, jobup.ch, LinkedIn or Job-Room) and links to the original posting. Applications happen there, or in the Jobfind.ai app — never through the connector.

4. Your assistant is yours

Your AI assistant is a service you chose and contracted with. Once a result leaves our server and arrives in your conversation, what happens to it — storage, use for model training, sharing — is governed by that provider's terms and privacy settings, not ours. We encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for your provider's handling of data you ask us to send it.

5. Acceptable use

The connector is for one person's own job search. You agree not to:

• Extract, copy, download or store job listings in bulk, or build a dataset, feed, alert service or job board from our results.
• Resell, sublicense, publish or share our results or your access with anyone else, including other users of your assistant.
• Use scripts, loops, multiple accounts or multiple assistants to get around rate limits, daily caps or plan limits.
• Use the connector to probe or map our job index, or to re-identify people mentioned in job postings.
• Use the connector for recruiting, employer screening, lead generation or any other commercial purpose.
• Attempt to trigger actions the connector does not offer, or to inject instructions that make your assistant misuse it.

6. Limits and fair use

We apply rate limits and daily caps per account, per token and per connection, and we cap how many results each call returns. Your plan's daily match limit is one shared allowance between the app and the connector — on the Free plan, 10 matches a day in total. Current limits are described on our connector guide and on the "Your AI assistant" card on your Account page. We may change limits to keep the service fair and stable; we will give 14 days' notice of reductions where reasonable.

7. Sign-ins, tokens and security

A personal access token is shown once, when you create it, and never again. Treat it like a password: do not paste it into shared documents, public repositories or other people's tools. Sign-in grants and tokens expire and can be revoked by you at any time on your Account page under "Your AI assistant". You are responsible for all use under your connections and tokens until you revoke them. Tell us at contact@jobfind.ai if you think a token has leaked.

8. Job content belongs to others

Job postings are written and owned by the employers and job boards that publish them. We index them so we can match them to you, and we show you where each one came from. Your licence to use results is the same as in our Terms: personal and non-commercial. 9. Plans and the 7-day preview

On the Free plan the connector is available as a 7-day preview, starting the first time you connect. After that it needs a Plus, Student or Career Concierge Pro plan, all of which include the connector. The preview is free, needs no card, and does not turn into a paid plan by itself: when it ends, connector calls simply return a message telling you the preview has ended and where plan options are described. Paid plans and billing are governed by our Terms and Stripe's terms; the connector adds no separate charge.

10. Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend or revoke connector access, with notice where reasonable, if we see bulk extraction, limit evasion, shared tokens, unusual load, or other breaches of these Connector Terms or our Terms. Your app access is unaffected unless our Terms say otherwise. You can stop using the connector at any time by disconnecting.

11. No warranty, liability

Listings come from third parties and may be outdated, duplicated or inaccurate; always check the original posting. The connector is provided “as is” and “as available”, and the warranty disclaimers and liability limits in section 9 of our Terms apply to it in full. Your AI assistant may misread or misstate our results; we are not responsible for what your assistant does with them.

12. Changes

We may update these Connector Terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice by e-mail or in the app, as under our Terms.

13. Law and courts

Section 11 of our Terms (Swiss law, courts of St. Gallen, your mandatory local consumer rights unaffected) applies to these Connector Terms.
